The Right Timing
Contrary to what most know, getting pregnant is all about the right timing. Women have a fertile window or the days in the menstrual cycle when chances of pregnancy are at its peak. Yes, this is true, and this window varies among women.
Ovulation occurs when a mature egg is released from the ovary.
During this time, the egg will be available to be fertilized by a sperm. It moves around the fallopian tube and stays there for 24 hours. This phenomenon happens for two weeks after the last period.
If there’s no sperm to fertilize the egg, it moves through the uterus and passes out with the menstrual flow. Hormone levels will go back to normal and your period starts.
This precious time is the perfect timing for couples to engage in sexual intercourse and have a baby. Hence, people who believe that women can get pregnant at any time of the month is wrong.
